Ruth Alma (Wheeler) White

Ruth A. (Wheeler) White, age 96 of Crawfordsville and formerly of Russellville, passed into the hands of God on August 28, 2020.  She was born in Adyeville, Indiana on March 14, 1924 to the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Mullen) Wheeler.  She was married to Jack White on July 12, 1943 by Rev. Leon Weatherman at Fairfield Christian Church in Indianapolis.  She was a homemaker and employee of Tri-County Bank.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and baking.  She loved her family and enjoyed being with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Larry (Karen) White of Avon, IN and Bruce (Joyce) White of Oskaloosa, IA; 8 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; 7 brothers and 1 sister.
