Sharon Kay (Davis) Dexter

Sharon Kay (Davis) Dexter, age 79, of Crawfordsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Franciscan Health Lafayette. She was born in Crawfordsville on March 3, 1942 to the late Floyd Joe and Hazel Lucille (Mason) Davis.

Sharon graduated from Crawfordsville High School. She married the love of her life, Larry Charles Dexter Sr, on April 18, 1974. She enjoyed going shopping, eating at Cracker Barrel, and sending time with the little ones.

She is survived by three sons, Larry (Angie) Dexter Jr., Michael Dexter, and Joey Dexter; two daughters, Tammi Hipsher and Daphne Dexter; fourteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larry; an infant son, Leroy Delp; and two brothers, Kenneth and Everett Davis.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington Street, in Crawfordsville, on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service at 1:00 pm.
