Sharon Kay (Long) Pierce, age 71, of Kingman passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Crawfordsville on January 7, 1950 to the late Roy George & Alice Mae (Harboldt) Long. On October 21, 1991 in St. Louis she married, Daniel Lee Pierce, who preceded her in death on April 11, 2008.

Throughout the years she worked at Wabash College in Crawfordsville and was the town clerk in Battleground. She loved going to yard sales, was always on the go, and loved spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by a son, Jeremy (Erica) Deboy of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Lois Deck of Kingman and Brenda Wright of New Richmond; a brother, Larry (Vickie) Long of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Tobin and Zoey Deboy; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daniel; and a sister, Wanda Devaney.

There will be a Private Family Service on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1086 N 125 W in Crawfordsville. The service will be live streamed and recorded which can be viewed on her obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Burial will follow at Battleground Cemetery.
