Sue R. (Young) Price

Sue R. (Young) Price, age of 89 of Kingman, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, April 12, 2023 at the Waters of Covington. She was born in Russellville, Kentucky on March 2, 1934 to the late Samuel E. & Ina Vastie (Brown) Young.

Sue was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. She helped operate two family businesses, had many waitress jobs, and was the cheese shop manager for Marsh Supermarket in Plainfield for 20 plus years. She was a huge Colts and Pacer's fan and loved watching birds, doing jig saw puzzles and cross word puzzles, gardening, fishing, reading the newspaper, cooking for her family, loved keeping family traditions, watching Dr. Charles Stanley on TV, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

Sue is survived by her two sons, Mike (Barbara) Lennartz of Ohio and Randy Vance of Kingman; a daughter, Tina (John) Cornell of Kingman; two sisters, Linda (Robert) Wilkinson of Georgia and Pat Mallory of Kentucky; six grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer) Lennartz, Jason (Julia) Lennartz, Brandi (David) Cox, Mandy (Gabe) Burton, Heather (AJ) Ford, and Missy (Jeremy) Irelan; nine great grandchildren, Avery, Rylan, Logan, Madison, Tempi, Evie, Delilah, Wrigley, and one on the way; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronnie Vance; five siblings, Mary Elizabeth Young, Betty J. Morgan, Bobby E. Young, Boney E. Young, and Albert Ray Young.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 2:00 pm till the time of funeral at 4:00 pm with Pastor Bill Lehmann officiating.
