William Edward Farrow

William Edward “Ed” Farrow, age 91 of Crawfordsville passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Wellbrooke of Avon. He was born in Lizton, Indiana on September 10, 1927 to the late William Thomas & Gertrude Chloe (Buechler) Farrow.

William graduated from Advance High School and on June 19, 1948 he married Lois Elaine Veatch, who preceded him in death on November 9, 2009. He was a member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene in Crawfordsville and was a mechanic at Rhoads Sales Corporation and a service manager at Town Edge Motors. He enjoyed woodworking, riding his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by a son, John (Chris) Farrow of Plainfield; a daughter, Nancy (Kevin) Yerkes of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Melissa (Steve) Havlick, Brian Farrow, Jason (Carrie) Farrow, Kim (Michael) Huffman, and Kyle (Heather) Yerkes; 5 great grandchildren, Libbi, Annabelle, Finley, Graham, and Grant; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois; a brother, Russell Farrow; and a sister, Louise Mitchell.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St in Crawfordsville on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 11:00am till the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm with Pastor Greg McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill North Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
